From Eczema Flares to Progress:
Her Treatment Journey
Eczema can appear in many locations on the body. One common area is on the upper and lower eye lids.
We can see the progress that has been made over a period of 6 weeks. The top picture shows the hot, red, inflamed skin. The bottom photo shows a considerable reduction in inflammation, as well as improved skin texture.
Dry burning and itchy patches can show up on the front and backs of the shoulders. Under the neck is very common amongst ladies.
Her Eczema Journey
Every patient’s eczema journey is different, and individual responses to treatment can vary. This patient had experienced eczema from a very young age and had tried several conventional treatment approaches over the years.
Last year, she began treatment with Dupixent but did not see the results her family had hoped for. During this time, her mother noticed more frequent flares, particularly on the arms and face. After several months, she was switched to Ebglyss. However, after months of treatment without seeing the desired improvement, her mother decided to explore Chinese medicine as another approach to managing her eczema.
Within less than two months of beginning Chinese herbal medicine, her family began noticing a reduction in redness and inflammation—changes they had not previously seen with her other treatments.
Her treatment is still ongoing at the time of this post, but her family has been very pleased with the progress she has made so far and the changes they have seen in her skin.
